Sarah Chauncey
Sarah Chauncey, the Library Media Specialist at Grandview Elementary School, has been given this semester’s Good Apple Award.
For the past three years, Sarah has served as the Teachers’ Center’s “Webmaster” and recently redesigned the website. Sarah’s creative, colorful use of the Center’s apple logo has contributed to making the website more user-friendly and attractive. In addition, and at her suggestion, she has added the “Director’s Blog” to the site. The blog helps to keep everyone informed about most recent Center news and happenings.
While Sarah is employed by the Center as the Webmaster, Sarah has taken her position above and beyond her responsibilities. It seems that when the Center informs Sarah of a need to post information on the site, it is no sooner said then done.
When told of her Good Apple Award, Sarah’s response was that she was “proud and humbled” to be part of the group of previous winners. Sarah’s next website task will be to post her own picture!
For her conscientiousness, generosity, and support of the Teachers’ Center and its programs, we are “proud and humbled” to name Sarah as a Good Apple! Congratulations, Sarah!
