Nadeem Akhter
Nadeem Akhter, a BOCES Lower Hudson Regional Information Center Network Specialist here in East Ramapo, is our Center’s latest Good Apple award recipient.
When it comes to assisting and troubleshooting at the Teachers’ Center, Nadeem always goes above and beyond his normal responsibilities! There have been many times that Nadeem has been called upon to assist with setting up technology for a presentation or to correct a problem. Nadeem always responds in a professional manner, regardless of the fact that his day may be officially over.
This year the Center planned to purchase new computers for staff. However due to a tight budget, Nadeem was asked about other options. He then upgraded our computers, enabling us to have more up-to-date technology without having to purchase new computers. Nadeem is also working on updating our computer lab which has been somewhat neglected the last couple of years.
For his distinctive work and support of technology at the Teachers’ Center, Nadeem has earned our “Good Apple” award.
Congratulations, Nadeem, and thanks for all you do!
